BioWare with their latest addition to the Dragon Age franchise has fully committed to the high adrenaline, fast-paced combat in The Veilguard. With satisfying boss fights and thrilling combat, they have also invested heavily in the puzzles. Among these brain teasers is the Dellamorte Estate Puzzle or as some people like to call it the Treviso Canals Statues Chest Puzzle.
This one surely is a head-scratcher and if you are still struggling with the statue conundrum, you have found yourself in the right place as we have the perfect thing for you – The Solution. This guide will cover every aspect of solving the Dellamorte Puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
How to Reach The Dellamorte Estates Puzzle
If you are here then it means you have already found the Dellamorte Puzzle otherwise you wouldn’t be here but if you are one of those people who heard about it on Reddit and can’t seem to figure out where the dang puzzle is, we have got you covered as well.
Your most likely starting point would be the Grande Market Beacons as this is the first beacon that you discover in the area. From there, you should start heading North through the large hall until you find the Heart and Central Beacon.
If you have already explored the area and found Heart and Central Beacon then that’s where you should start. You can fast travel there.
There should be a bridge across from the Beacon. Go across the bridge, keeping going East until you cross paths with a Gravel Road. From North, once you are there stay on the path until you find the Dellamorte Estate – a courtyard surrounded by thick vines.
Prerequisites For Dellamorte Estates Puzzle
There are some prerequisites without which this puzzle will remain unsolved. There is technically only a single requisite, and that, too, is pretty hard to miss as the story’s progression until this point in the game is pretty linear.
You will need Lucanis on your team as your companion because of his ability, Spite’s Reach. Without this ability, you cannot solve the Dellamorte Puzzle and get the reward. The good thing is that you will unlock Lucanis automatically while you are doing the Sea of Blood quest which also happens to be a main quest.
Once you have unlocked Lucanis, you will be able to solve the puzzle.
How to Solve The Dellamorte Estates Puzzle
The arrow next to each statue in the image points in the direction the statue is supposed to be pointing.
Solving the Dellamorte Puzzle is just a matter of pointing things in the right direction. When you first enter the courtyard, you will see a bunch of statues, all pointing in some direction. You can interact with the statue and rotate it as well. In the center of the courtyard will be three levers but all of them are high up on a platform.
Right next to every statue and platform, you will see a Fade Anomaly. It looks a lot like a crack in the dimension, sort of like a glowing light.
Start in the middle of the courtyard. Use Spite’s Reach on the Fade Anomaly near the lever on the platform and a giant hand will appear. You can use it to get on top of the platform and flip the lever. Do this for all levers (L1, L2, L3).
Now go next to each statue (you can start from S1) and use Spite’s Reach on the Fade Anomaly. This will summon a Fade Statue that will be pointing in a direction. Now point the actual statue in the direction of the Fade Statue.
Do this for every statue. The final statue should be behind a gate in the eastern section of the courtyard. If you have pulled all of the levers then the gate should already be open. As soon as you are done with the final statue, the gate leading to the Chest should open up and you will be able to collect your rewards.
