The game also comes with all the modern bells and whistles like Cloud Save but you can never be too sure so might as well make a local copy of the save files.
To do so, you need to locate them first, and we are here to make your life easier by telling you exactly where you can find Black Myth Wukong’s saved files on your PC.
Black Myth Wukong Save File Location
There is a slight difference in the location of the save file based on the platform from which you bought your game. Commonly, Steam and Epic Games are the two stores where you would purchase your game from, and here is the location of the save file in both cases.
Steam
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong\b1\Saved\SaveGames[YOUR STEAM ID]
Epic Games
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Black Myth Wukong
Here you will find your game data along with the save file. We do suggest you back up your latest save file in case your current one gets corrupted due to some unforeseen reasons. That way you won’t lose a lot of your progress and you can pick up where you left off.
If you don’t want to navigate to the location manually, there is a quicker and much simpler way to access the saved file.
- Press Windows + R and it will pull up the Run Window.
- Type in the following address in the search bar
Steam
%USERPROFILE%\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong\b1\Saved\SaveGames[YOUR STEAM ID]
Epic Games
%USERPROFILE%\Program Files\Epic Games\Black Myth Wukong
Entering these commands in the run window will take you straight to your saved game files. You can choose to make a backup of the files or can do some tweaking. Whatever suits your fancy.
