The Bone Trident is a Tier 2 spear weapon that is primarily used for underwater combat. It is a 1-handed weapon. The Bone Trident’s attack speed is superior to most other weapons, especially underwater, and is also able to inflict stun, unlike other spears. It can also be thrown like other spears, though it is not recommended due to the expenses of crafting this weapon.

Bone Dagger
The Bone Dagger is a direct upgrade from the Pebblet Dagger that exceeds in underwater harvesting and can be used in combat but can be outshined by the Bone Trident. It is a 1-handed weapon. It can also destroy Soggy Roots.
The player can also use the Spider Fang Dagger as a non-underwater obtained dagger equivalent. It is the best underwater weapon, dealing 10.5 DPS, the same as Bone Trident, but all underwater creatures except water fleas have major resistance to Bone Trident damage type.
A diving knife made of more robust materials, increasing the tool’s effectiveness in its various functions.

The Pebblet Dagger is a starting dagger that the player can easily obtain in the early game when first exploring the Koi Pond. It is a 1-handed weapon. While its main usage will likely be for harvesting Eelgrass, it can also be used for combat, especially underwater.
Although it is far from the best underwater weapon in the game since there are only 3 underwater specific weapons in the game so this has to be included in the list.

There are other weapons in Grounded that can be used for fighting underwater although they do lack the harvesting capabilities of dedicated underwater weapons.
There are other things that they lack underwater which give them some edge when used on land. Owing to this, they have a lower utility from a broader perspective:
Stinger Spear
The Stinger Spear is a Tier 2 spear weapon and has a unique critical hit chance perk. It is a 1-handed weapon. It shares the same damage and attack speed as the Bone Trident but is unable to inflict stun.
Its rotten variant can be found on the head of the Sunken T-Rex. It does not gain any critical hit chance bonuses when used underwater.

The Rusty Spear is a weapon crafted from Rust and other Resources. It is a spear like the Stinger Spear but inflicts the Infection debuff. Infection reduces enemy attack speed and attack damage by 10%. As a spear, it can be used underwater, specifically to kill Spiny Water Fleas for Pond Moss. It cannot inflict Infection when used underwater.

Widow Dagger
The Widow Dagger is a weapon crafted from parts of a Black Widow. It can be seen as a stronger variant of the Spider Fang Dagger. It inflicts Poison like the Spider Fang Dagger. Along with being a good weapon, it can also be used to gather Pond Moss in the ponds in the upper yard. It cannot inflict Poison underwater.
