Dead By Daylight is a survival horror asymmetric multiplayer online game that has gained popularity due to its tight game design and the fact that it scratches the itch for many horror genre fans both old and new. The game wears its horror movie inspiration on its sleeve and the mechanics behind it all pushes it over the line in terms of a well-crafted game.
From the iconic and unique killers to the survivors and the general loop of the game is top-notch and the perk system makes experimenting with different builds even more exciting and helps breathe in new life to this game once you start to feel burned out.
There are unique teachable perks that vary up the playstyle associated with every killer and survivor that are unlocked after certain levels. In this article we will be discussing how you can unlock these perks and what are some of the methods to expedite this process.

Where Can You Find Teachable Perks?
To get to the point where you can view the perks we start from the main menu and then we are either going to select Play as Survivor or Play as Killer it doesn’t really matter. Then when we are on the next screen we are going to press F1 or press the little character info box in the top right corner to get the character info screen to pop up.
The character info screen will primarily be going to show us the whole backstory of a selected killer or survivor along with their power’s description and the teachable perks they have.
If you see the locks next to the teachable perks it means that you have not yet unlocked them however when you hover over these locks a small text window will pop up and it will state that you can unlock the perks at Bloodweb level 30, 35, and 40 respectively.
Once you have leveled up your Bloodweb to 30 the first teachable perk will show up on the web to be bought and unlocked, the appearance of the perk will be just like that in the character info screen. Once you unlock the teachable perk it will permanently be unlocked on your account for every killer and survivor there is.
To make sure you have unlocked the perk you wanted you can always go back to the character info box and look for the check mark that indicates the perk being unlocked. On a side note, if you leveled up and missed the teachable perk or you unlock other perks in the Bloodweb by accident, the teachable perk will always show up in future Bloodwebs till you unlock it.
Another side note is that you don’t have to necessarily play the character you want to level up just for the teachable perks. If you prefer playing other leveled-up killers at your disposal you can do that and just spend the earned Blood Points on the original character whose teachable perk you want to unlock.

Best Ways Of Getting Teachable Perks
Getting all the teachable perks can be quite a tedious task as it involves farming tons of blood points but fear not as with the right timing and the right perks it can be way easier than it is.
The best way of getting all the teachable perks is by taking advantage of the Shrine of Secrets, a shop that is hidden inside the store that updates every week with teachable perks, this store would have sold these perks for real money. This shrine makes the game more accessible to players who don’t want to spend money on the game or grind blood points to reach those high levels. You can purchase the perks by using your earned Iridescent Shards.
In Dead by Daylight, there are constantly occurring special events called the Blood Hunt that usually lasts 4 days. In a blood hunt event, players earn double blood points during the event, and luckily it’s double blood points for both killers and survivors so you are not bound by that. In addition to this, the event multiplier stacks with other perks and offerings that might also multiply blood points earned, so save all your big bonus blood point offerings for this particular event and you can get upwards of 200,000 blood points from even a single match.
If you want a constant supply of blood points then you can use David King’s teachable perk “We Are Going To Live Forever” and Leatherface’s teachable perk Barbecue & Chilli to get double blood points in every single match. Sadly Leatherface is not available in the base game and is locked behind a paywall and you are required to buy him from the Steam shop in order to get his perk or you can wait for his perk to show up in the Shrine of Secrets’ weekly rotation. Luckily this does not apply to David King as he is one of the seven free survivors you get by default, unlocking his perk only requires reaching level 30 in his blood web and buying the teachable perk.
The teachable perks are hands down the best perks that can aid you in any match and once unlocked in one character they are transferable to all others. Before you reach the required level for the teachable perk to unlock in the blood web, just spend the blood points on the least expensive perks/item in the prior blood web levels so that you have saved some blood points for the teachable perks.
