How Do You Unlock The Developer Room in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

How Do You Unlock The Developer Room in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

Most games nowadays merely have a boring credits scrawl at the end of their main story. However, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands lovingly breaks that mould by allowing players access to a secret Developer’s Room after they have completed the game.

Just by looking at Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you can tell the developers had a blast making it. The game is brimming with passion and creativity. Nothing signifies this better than a secret room full of loot and easter eggs for the long-time fans of Gearbox Studios.

So how do you get to the Developer Room? Here are all the steps you need to follow:

  1. Fast Travel to Brighthoof
  2. Go inside the Hawker’s Walk Building
  3. Go Downstairs
  4. Enter the Portal in the center to be teleported to the Developer Room

How To Access The Developer Room

Now that we’ve gone through all the basics – here are all the steps you need to follow to access the Developer Room in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Travel to Brighthoof

First of all, after you’ve completed the main story make sure to Fast Travel to the Main Town of the game, Brighthoof. If you fast travel to Brighthoof from another location you will spawn directly into the Main Square, and that is exactly where you have to go.

However, if you’re for some reason already in Brighthoof, but not close to the main square, try and walk over to that location. Here’s a map for reference:

Proceed into the Hawker’s Walk Building

Now, most games would have a convoluted process in order to access the secret room, but Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, thank the lord, is not so obscure. The next step of the guide to unlocking the Developer Room is to simply go inside the Hawker’s Walk Building. This building is located towards the docks in Harborside.

Before you complete the main story this entire lower section of the Hawker’s Walk is flooded with water and largely inaccessible. However, once the story is complete all of the water will have drained from this lower section, and you will be able to simply walk downstairs through either the staircase on the right or left side.

If all these years of gaming has taught us anything it is that big glowey portals lead somewhere, and the one in the lower floor of the Hawker’s Walk teleports you directly to the Secret Developer Room. So in order to access the secret area, simply walk through the portal and you’ll be popped out into a small room with some wonderful loot and easter eggs.

What Is In The Developer Room In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

There are a bunch of cool things for players in the Developer Room, but here are some of the most interesting ones:

  • Development Team Portrait Collage: This amazing collage is a brilliant way that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands gives an homage to its diligent Development team. We love all the goofy and fun faces that have contributed to making this game.
  • Dragon Egg: There is also a Dragon egg on the table in front of the collage. However, sadly, you cannot pick up the egg.
  • The Purple Crystal
  • Loot Chest

What Can Players Do Inside The Developer Room?

There isn’t much that you are able to interact with inside of the Developer Room. There are a few Loot chests mentioned above and some curious items sprinkled around the place. Otherwise, it’s mostly a neat location to visit and admire the whacky adventure we have been on throughout the game, and give homage to the developers that made it possible.

The Developer Room is perhaps one of the coolest additions to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands because it truly shows the care and love of the development team for the fans. We’re glad such additions in video games are becoming more abundant and hope we get to find even more secret tucked away locations in the future.
