I have finally compiled my complete rankings for every boss that From Soft has blessed us with over the last 13 years. It was a difficult task and I am sure that some will have big issues with some of my thoughts, but every players experience is completely different in these games so take it all with a tiny dash of salt.
My rankings are based on several factors that translate well to each game: combat design and balanced difficulty, visual design and originality , lore implications, music and sound design, and even the arena you fight them in or the run back to the arena when that is required. I have also included a simple difficulty indicator for those curious. (Check out my other articles for more details!)
This list contains all bosses from Demons Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, and Bloodborne (Including the Chalice Dungeons). It also contains all the “main” bosses from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Elden Ring as putting in the side bosses from these games would make this massive list of nearly two-hundred foes even longer.

Bloodborne had an average boss ranking of 94. This is partially due to so many lackluster Chalice Dungeon bosses, without them that number goes down quite a bit.
