Geralt is a man of few words and speaks volumes with his actions, which the ladies seem to gravitate towards. And we all know that the Butcher of Blaviken has his heart set on a certain raven-haired sorceress. However, if you can’t keep it in your pants and just want to sow your wild oats then there are many opportunities in the Witcher 3 to fulfill your “romantic” desires.
But is it like you can mount anything with two legs or whether Geralt has some discipline when choosing whom to court? In a nutshell, can you romance everyone you meet in the Witcher 3?
In Witcher 3 you can romance certain characters. Your relationship with Yennifer Vengerberg and Triss Merigold is “long-term” which influences the ending while others are somewhat of a “one night stand” with no repercussions.

Romance Options in Witcher 3
Witcher 3 provides the player with ample opportunity to indulge in all manner of romantic relationships. They range from a casual quick bang to serious relationships that have implications for the ending of the game.
Most often than not, you will have to jump through some hoops like side quests or flirty behavior to get them to bed.
Not every woman you meet in the game is open to a romp in the sack (although you can always visit the nearest brothel to get your fill). You might be wondering who are these women that Geralt can score. So let’s get into each type of romantic option in the game and the conditions you have to meet for the affair to blossom.

Main Romances
There are two women in Witcher 3 that you can create a meaningful relationship with. You can pursue both of them but it is best to decide on one beforehand or else you will miss out on a noteworthy ending (more on this later in the article).
Yennefer of Vengerberg
According to the Witcher lore, Yennefer can be considered the one true love of Geralt. This sensual, all-black-clad century-old sorceress is famous for her beauty.
On top of that, their mutual obsession with each other is quite evident from the very beginning of the game. She is also involved in the notorious Unicorn scene with the Witcher (Google it if you are curious).
You will get two opportunities to sleep with her:
- The first time, you need to finish The King is Dead – Long Live the King quest. When given the option to choose your outfit, pick the black and white outfit. Later once you have taken down the Earth Elemental in the laboratory and the room starts to fill up with gas, choose the option to kiss her. She will then teleport you to her bedroom where you need to pick the option to let you watch her. We’ll leave the rest to your imagination.
- For the second time to occur, provided you have already been with her the first time, it will be during the No Place Like Home main quest. Once the dinner scene is done, you can follow Yennefer to her room and do the deed again.
Yennefer Ending
During The Last Wish quest, you need to ignore Triss and instead focus on romancing Yennefer. Doing so will result in both of you retiring from the life of adventuring and living a simple happy life at the end.
Triss Merigold of Maribor
Triss is the other woman in the White Wolf’s life. She is also a sorceress but with red hair and a heart of gold (as opposed to Yennefer’s sassy demeanor). It feels almost cruel to not go for her since she showers her love on the Witcher quite openly. They have an intimate history together and fans of the previous games will know her right away.
To choose her as your life partner, in the end, you need to follow the steps below:
- You need to first complete the main quest A Favor for Radovid, as well as the secondary quest A Matter of Life and Death.
- During A Matter of Life and Death, be sure to kiss Triss at the masquerade event when the opportunity is presented.
- Completing the previous quests, will unlock her Now or Never side quest. During this mission, you have to defend the mages. At the end of the mission, Triss will be all set to leave for Kovir. At this point, Geralt can ask her to stay and tell her that he loves her. She will then board the ship but only to return to the Witcher’s embrace. Following this heartfelt moment, the two will have celebratory sex in a lighthouse.
Triss Ending
If you have done everything mentioned above along with avoiding any romantic advances towards Yennefer will result in Triss and Geralt’s happy ending. They will move to Kovir, where she will become the advisor to the king and he will occasionally perform his Witcher duties.
Romancing Both Triss and Yennefer
If you are feeling extra raunchy and want to get it on with both Triss and Yennefer then you are in for a surprise. It is possible to follow all the steps we have listed before and romance both of these ladies but there is a massive drawback to it.
Romancing both Triss and Yennefer will eventually lead you to lose both of them whereby consequently you’ll be locked out of both romantic endings. However, there is a funny sequence if you go about this route.
When you are done helping Triss and Yennefer before the search for the Sunstone, you will be presented with the main quest, It Takes Three to Tango.
In this mission, they both will try to seduce you together into a fantasy we all are dying to experience. However, right before things start to get juicy, they will leave Geralt chained to the bed naked. Afterward, any romantic conversation will be shrugged away by both of them and you will have failed both romance options/endings.
It sounds fun and all but the ramifications are not that satisfying. You can always go for it in a New Game+.

Side Chicks
Instead of ruining your good relationships, it is best to look at other avenues. There are multiple characters that you can get involved with without any consequences. These women can be romantically charged by completing certain quests. These are essentially one-night stands.
And the best part is, there are no consequences of losing either Triss or Yennefer from this infidelity. You can still get romantic endings from either of the two.
Keira Metz
Geralt can romance Keira Metz in The Witcher 3 after you have completed the Hunting a Witch and Wandering in the Dark quests. She will then invite you to her home and ask you to complete a quest called A Towerful of Mice.
After you have done the said quest, another quest Favor for a Friend will become available. She will request you to find her missing parcels.
The parcels are a bunch of ingredients that she will use to prepare a picnic meal under the moon. If you join her, you can have the sorceress herself as the end of the meal dessert.
Madame Sasha
You can make the beast with two backs with Madame Sasha by taking part in a Gwent tournament in the High Stakes quest. You will have to either defeat her in the said tourney or have agreed to help her. In either case, she will ask you out to dinner and you just have to agree and go through the natural paces.
Jutta an Dimun
This Skelliger warrior lady needs to be won over by your brute strength to make whoopee. During the Iron Maiden secondary quest, you will have to defeat her in a duel without cheating to have her accept her invitation.
Shani
This romantic affair is part of the Hearts of Stone expansion. Geralt will run into his old acquaintance Shani in the series of events of this expansion. Geralt can romance Shani in The Witcher 3 after attending a wedding feast in the Dead Man’s Party quest.
By the end of the mission, you will have to choose a gift to give her. If you choose a flower then things will go down smoothly. However, if you choose mead or brandy and allow her to mix liquor with wine then you are in for an amusing boinking.
Syanna
This extraordinary love scene is part of the Blood and Wine expansion. You will bump uglies with Sylvia Anna or Syanna after successfully rescuing her from the fairy tale setting of the Lands of the Thousand Fables. As a thank you, she will be down for some hot yoga and trust us it will be something out of this world. (We won’t give out any details as it has to be witnessed yourself!)

Smash and Dash
If you are feeling tired from all of your arduous Witcher duties and just want to let go of the stress quickly then visit the many fine establishments in the land to get your sword polished. The world’s oldest profession is there for all weary travelers.
Utilizing the services of these women brings no retaliation from either Triss or Yennefer. You can keep boning these broads and it will have no impact on your romantic option/ending.

Even though the game’s romantic endings suggest that Geralt is a one-woman kind of guy, he still has a lot of romance opportunities in The Witcher 3. Not every woman in the game is open to this dance but there are a lot of options. So get your freak on and get down for some funny business.
