Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is filled to the brim with loads of content and weapons. Very soon you will be bombarded with all kinds of equipment in your inventory just collecting dust as you have moved on to better things in the game.
So what are you supposed to do with all the weapons you have collected so far not being used in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
Unfortunately, you CANNOT sell weapons in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. All the weapons will stay in your inventory with no way of getting rid of them.
Weapons and Gear
As you progress through Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and especially if you go through the tedium of completing every map marker in the game, you will eventually be running into all kinds of different items and equipment.
Amongst these are weapons, and like any other RPG, you will find better ones as you venture on.
And as with any game, you will always opt for and equip the best gear which you can get your hands on. There is a robust upgrading system in AC Valhalla through which all gear items can be upgraded to fit your higher-level needs.
So potentially, even lower or underpowered weapons can stick with you for longer periods if you upgrade properly.

Selling Weapons in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Later down the line, you will receive some amazing weapons and gear which you will have to go for owing to their unique traits. This will make the other weapons obsolete and clutter up your inventory. So what can you do to tidy up your closet? Is it even possible to sell discarded weapons or dismantle them for materials?
Sadly the answer is NO. You cannot sell weapons in your inventory in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. There are no merchants or traders in the game that will allow you to get rid of your piles of unused weapons. There isn’t even an option to dismantle them to get materials that you can use to craft useful goodies.
As you can see in the picture above, there aren’t any options or button prompts in the inventory menu to either sell or dismantle the piece of gear. And the traders in the game only deal in items other than gear.
The possible answer for the absence of this essential feature is that every piece of gear in AC Valhalla is unique. Due to this, you can not even get duplicates of any weapons in the game. There is only one instance of each weapon in the game that you can hold.
For these reasons, the weapons can’t be sold. What a waste of space! Thank Odin that there are no inventory limitations otherwise we would have been screwed.
Save yourself the trouble of finding the answer to this hopeless question. Learn to live with the mess in your inventory. It is even worse when you realize that this feature existed in previous Assassin’s Creed games.
Hopefully, Ubisoft will have heard the voices of irate players and implement the feature in the next game.
