With each charm, you get a passive bonus like lowering item prices, increasing healing effectiveness, improving movement speed, and much more.

As mentioned earlier, Charms in Resident Evil 4 remake are little trinkets that are equipped to Leon’s attachment case. You can equip them with the various typewriters found throughout the game.

To unlock charms, you’ll need to win them at the various shooting ranges found throughout the village.

You can visit the first shooting range over the Merchant. Visit the shop in Chapter 3 after passing through the Quarry. You’ll find an elevator to the right of the Merchant to access the shooting range. Start completing challenges here.

With each challenge completed, you’ll go through a bonus round with extra requirements. You’ll earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold tokens which can be exchanged at the Vending Machine.

Healing Bonus Charms

Healing Bonus Charms provide improved healing, providing more HP per item use. You use items like fish, eggs, and green herbs to increase your health.

Merchant Discount Charms

You’ll be making loads of visits to the Merchant in Resident Evil 4 Remake, and items can be pretty expensive, and so are weapon upgrades. Merchant Discount Charms, as the name suggests, provide discounts at the Merchant.

Expect a significant price reduction for weapons and upgrades. You can also sell items for a higher price. Quickswap these charms at typewriters before heading to a merchant.

Combat Charms

Combat Charms provide a movement speed buff for Leon, which is needed considering the tanky slow movement speed in Resident Evil 4 Remake. In addition, combat charms provide a boost in critical hit rate.

Charm stacking works, but there are a few caveats. You can’t expect the same charm type to stack with each other. This goes for duplicate charms too. It’s better if you sell extra duplicate charms. But there are a few exceptions.

The Health recovery herb charms do, in fact, stack with each other. Equip a green herb charm from the deluxe edition with the Leader Zealot charm to get a buff for health recovery.

On the other hand, you can equip different charm types that provide the same type of bonus, which is pretty much what you’ve been looking for. For example, the Deluxe Edition Handgun Ammo, Solider with Hammer, and Don Jose give you a 65% bonus chance of obtaining handgun ammo.
