Generally, enemies do not respawn in Resident Evil 4 Remake. You have to clear an area and move on to the next. However, there are sections in the game where they just keep on coming but those enemies are either limited or the game wants you to do a certain task.

Do Enemies Respawn in Resident Evil 4 (Remake)?

Resident Evil 4 Enemies Respawn

This is a tricky question as there is no proper answer to it. There will be moments in the game, especially the wooden bridge area, where the enemies will pour out of every corner you turn to, and there will be no end in sight.

On the other hand, some sections of the game will ask you to kill some zombies and simply move to the next bit.

The answer is no enemies do not keep respawning in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Even in the wooden bridge section, there are only a limited number of enemies that will appear. Although the number seems way too much, rest assured they will run out of backup soon. You just have to hold your ground.

One piece of advice is to take shelter in shacks that do not have many openings and take out any that dare to enter your “stronghold”.

Try to use the grenade-hurling zombies to your advantage. Let them chuck bombs at the bottleneck where enemies are piling up and watch as the horde gets blown to bits. If you do it right you won’t have to use much ammunition and everything will be taken care of by the grenadiers.

Without going into any spoilers, sometimes the game will want you to make a run for your life or get to a hidden objective while the zombies will flood you. This is an intentional game design; you just have to run through the chaos as it directs you to the next safe zone.

What’s New in The Remake?

Resident Evil 4 Remake

Resident Evil 4 Remake is the reimagining of the highly influential game of the same name launched back in 2005.

The game was the first time the series ventured into the third-person over-the-shoulder camera. Since then, it has inspired loads of games in the survival horror genre and any game with a similar playstyle.

The original was revered for its breakneck action and its mixing up of the formula from the traditional way the series played. Even though this playstyle is common now, the remake still captures the same magic and pushes it further with its excellent implementation of modern gameplay.

The game will push you to your limit with the amount of craziness happening on the screen which includes the tons of zombies you will have to face at any given time. Fans of the old game will welcome this onslaught, but newer players might get ticked off by the constant bump in difficulty.

Compared to the previous remakes, Resident Evil 4 Remake does try to drown you with relentless zombies. There are huge numbers and waves upon waves of them. However, they are never infinite, they will eventually stop spawning. So you just have to strap your boot and get ready to get covered in blood.
