  • Click Restock on any items that you want to be restocked for the camp.
  • This will automatically restock the medication, which means your donation will be successful.

Note: You will not be able to access the ledger unless you have completed a fair amount of story missions.

How to Unlock the Ledger in Red Dead Redemption 2

If you cannot see the ledger next to the money box, you don’t have it unlocked. You will not be able to stock or restock anything in the ledger unless you have it unlocked. You will first need to unlock it. For this, you will need to “upgrade” your camp.

All you need to do, in order to access the ledger is to beat the first five missions in Chapter 2. These missions are called:

  • Polite Society, Valentine Style
  • Americans at Rest
  • Paying a Social Call
  • A Quiet Time
  • Good, Honest, Snake Oil

Once you’re done with these five missions of Chapter 2 in Red Dead Redemption, you will unlock a mission called Money Lending and Other Sins. After you’re done with this chapter, you will be able to access the ledger.

Money Lending and Other Sins

In order to start this mission, you will first need to finish the first 5 missions of Chapter 2. After that, you will go and talk to Strauss. He will give you a couple of jobs to do. The jobs he mentions will chiefly be comprised of making people pay back the debts that they owe to your gang.

The people you will need to talk to for this mission and get money from will be marked by a yellow area and LS on it. There are three people who need to return the money, but the mission will be successful by getting back the money from any one of the three.

The three people you will want to collect debts from include:

He is the one who is present in the West of the Camp. He has a house on the other side of the Dakota River. You will basically loot his house to receive the debt he owes.

She is at the Emerald Ranch, in the northeast direction of the camp. She sits outside a large building next to a man named Cooper. If you take money from Lilly, he will fight you. So, it’s best to put on a disguise first, then beat him up and finally get money from Lilly.

Is the last person on the list, whose house is at the northeast of the camp. When you get there, he will try to flee on his horseback. Follow him while readying your lasso, and once you catch him, keep holding L2 to keep him tied up. Once he’s on the ground, search for him to find a treasure map on him.

Once you’re done, you need to turn the debt you collected, in. This will lead you toward a number of prompts. You need to follow these prompts to open the ledger and purchase the camp upgrade.

By completing all these steps you should be able to donate medicines to your camp now. The game makes such a simple endeavor into an entire journey in and of itself. And perhaps that’s why so many people absolutely love Red Dead Redemption 2. Because it doesn’t waste a single opportunity to tell a vividly imaginative and interesting story.
