What Gear Does Invader Start With?

Engineers get some starting equipment, such as starter’s weapons and armor. Let’s look into what becomes available:

Armor (Dendroid Set)

  2. Dendroid Chest: This light body armor comes with limited protection against physical attacks and certain elemental status effects. It provides 23 armor points with resistance against Bleed, Blight, and especially Toxin Elements.
  3. Dendroid Leggings: These leggings are medium-weight leg armor with moderate defense stats against physics attacks and certain Elements. They provide 13 armor points and offer resistance against Bleed, Shock, and Blight Elements.

Weapons

  1. Coach Gun: The Coach Gun will be your starting primary weapon as an Invader with a powerful blow at 115 Damage points, considering that it comes with 2 Magazines and 28 Max Ammo Capacity. It is highly accurate in its Ideal Range of 15 meters, making it good for close-quarters combat. It offers a +100% Weak Spot Damage Bonus.

Or, you can choose to play co-op mode with friends and take a more laid-back approach. You can facilitate your allies as well with your abilities which makes the Invader Archetype a great choice for a support role.

What Perks does The Engineer start with?

The Invader starts with a Prime Perk automatically available at the very beginning, called ‘Shadow’. This Prime Perk is unique to this Archetype alone and can be upgraded at various points upon leveling up the Archetype.

Once active, a Decoy is left behind for 3 seconds after having cast an Invader Skill. The Decoy draws all the enemy fire and agro away. Additionally, you deal +5% additional damage to enemies that are not targeting Invader.

When you first upgrade it after reaching level 5 as an Invader, you deal +10% additional damage to enemies that are not targeting you.

After the final upgrade, once you reach Level 10, you deal +15% additional damage to enemies that are not targeting Invader.

All the other Perks are unlocked from level 1 onwards and are not automatically accessible at the start.

Are the Skills and Traits of The Engineer worth it?

The Skills and Traits of the InvaderArchetype offered in Remnant 2 offer a unique style of gameplay that can be extremely fascinating for many players.

The Invader in Remnant 2 has only 3 Skills, of which only one can be active at a time. Since these Skills have a longer cooldown than other abilities and perks, it is very important to strategize their use.

The first Skill you unlock automatically upon choosing Summoner is ‘Void Cloak’. Upon pressing the Skill button, you automatically will perform a Perfect Dodge to all incoming direct strikes for 60 seconds.

Each and every single auto-evade performed will reduce the timer by 33-100%, depending on the damage you absorbed. Each time you dodge, a Decoy will be spawned for 3 seconds. Cooldown: 75 seconds.

Invader Paired up with other Archetypes

The second Skill is unlocked at level 5 and is called ‘Worm Hole’. When you press the Skill button, you will get warped forward through space-time. Within 5 seconds of having cast this ability, the very next physical or ranged attack you perform will deal 300% damage.

The last Skill at level 10 is ‘Reboot’. This Skill will begin a Data Backup of your current HP, Stamina, Ammo, Relic Charges, and any lingering Negative Status Effects for 30 seconds.

Once a backup is created and active, you will gain improved movement speed by 15% along with a 10% damage reduction. If you reactivate this Skill, it will restore all saved values from your Backup and spawn a Decoy for 3 seconds.

The unique Archetype Trait Invaders gain is called ‘Untouchable’. At level 1, you will have a +3% Invulnerability Window. This can be further increased to +30% after reaching level 10.
