You receive a sniper rifle at Master Rank level 15 of the Dubai location. And at Master Rank level 20 of the Dartmoor location, Chongqing location, and Mendoza location.

3 Ways to Get a Sniper Rifle in Hitman 3
The Sniper Rifle is one of the most deadly weapons available to you in Hitman 3. Not only do you not have to infiltrate certain areas to set up a kill. You also don’t even have to get into a gunfight with the guards. You can establish a safe location from afar, and let the bullet bursting out of your chamber do the talking.

In fact, as proof of the concept, there are several spin-off Hitman titles. Especially, those where you simply shoot targets using a sniper rifle as Agent 47.

1) Attaining Mastery Rank 5 in the Paris Mission
If you already own a copy of the first Hitman game from 2016, or if you own the Hitman Legacy Pack. Then there are a host of missions that you can play in Hitman 3. Each of these missions provides its own Mastery Rank awards, and one of these is the Sniper Rifle.
The process of obtaining the sniper rifle from the Paris Mission is simple. You have to obtain a Mastery Rank of 5 in that location. This can be done by playing through that mission several times and completing various challenges to obtain the highest yield of experience to raise the rank. The weapon you obtain is the Jaeger 7.

2) Go to the Roof of the Laundry Store in Chongqing
Another incredibly fast method to obtain the Sniper Rifle in Hitman 3 is by playing through the Chongqing location. The sniper rifle you receive from this method does not get permanently added to your arsenal. However, it does provide you with an interesting method to complete the mission.
To obtain this sniper rifle you need to make your way to the Laundry Store in that location. After you’ve arrived at that store, feel free to scale it from either outside or inside of the building, and access the roof. On the roof, you will find in the corner a sniper rifle that you can use for your assassination.
This weapon can only be used within the Chongqing mission. There will be a guard right in front of the weapon. But you can find a brick near the exhaust and use it to silently knock the guard out. Then you can pick up the sniper rifle next to the wooden crates and use it from this vantage point or move someplace else.
3) Obtaining Permanent Sniper Rifles through Mastery of Rank
If you’ve so far been looking for a method to obtain permanent sniper rifles then this is the only way to do so. There are a set of 4 locations within Hitman 3, and each provides you with a different sniper rifle at a different Mastery Rank.

You obtain Mastery Rank by collecting Mastery XP which is itself obtained by completing various challenges within the game. The best way to level up your Mastery Level for each of the locations is by completing their associated challenges. You can receive a set list of these challenges by connecting your game to the internet.
The challenges listed within this section range from a wide variety of different and varied tasks. You will either be asked to secure a certain number of headshots or kills or will be asked to drown a certain number of NPCs within the mission itself. There are also rewards for obtaining special kills as well.
Once you’ve completed all of the Challenges provided by any particular location you will be rewarded with a ton of experience points that go towards your Mastery level of the location.
Since Hitman 3 has only six levels in itself. Completing these challenges becomes one of the most important aspects of the game, especially when it comes to unlocking weapons like the sniper rifle.

How to Use a Sniper Rifle in Hitman 3?
Now that you’ve obtained your sniper Rifle in the ways we’ve mentioned above. It’s time to learn how to use them. If you’re playing Hitman 3 for the first time then you can find yourself in an awkward spot. As weapons in Hitman don’t work as they do in other games.
Unlike other games, in Hitman, and especially in Hitman 3, you cannot simply barge in guns blazing. And you certainly cannot hope that by using a bigger or more accurate weapon you will b able to clear all the enemies or get past all the guards. If you attempt to do that then you might find yourself quickly overwhelmed.
If you’re planning to use a sniper rifle then you will need to bring something that you can hide the weapon inside. Whilst you’re inside the Planning section of the menu, it can be important to bring specific items that can aid your assassination attempt.
In the case of bringing your sniper rifle, it can be advantageous to exchange your Fiber Wire for a Container Item like a Briefcase. The case will allow you to bring larger weapons inside various buildings with you. You should also be able to carry it around without alarming the people looking at you. You can place the Sniper into the case within the Planning Menu as well.
