How To Access Storage in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

How To Access Storage in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Team Ninja’s spin on the Dark Souls formula has been quite a success with Nioh and now their take on Sekiro i.e. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has also proven to be quite a competent product. Although, the loot system they incorporate in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is very jarring. You will be bombarded with all manner of items and managing them is a tedious task.

Furthermore, the storehouse where you could dump your excess items is somewhat hidden and the game doesn’t explicitly tell you where it is. How can you access the storage or the storehouse in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty? Let us answer this query for you.

To access the storage/inventory/storehouse in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, you need to first visit the Blacksmith, Zhu Xia. Open any option from her menu like Upgrade etc. then press the X(Xbox)/Square(PlayStation) button to access the storage.

Before you can access the Upgrade and Storage, you need to first unlock the Blacksmith in the Hidden Village. Zhu Xia the blacksmith will be unlocked after you have completed one of the early missions called Two Chivalrous Heroes.

After the mission is done, she will move to the Hidden Village and become your primary blacksmith where you can upgrade, dismantle, buy, and sell all types of items. She also acts as your storage or storehouse where you could save any items for later use.

You can visit the Hidden Village by opening the map and selecting the Other locations option. From here you could easily fast-travel back to the village.

With the amount of stuff you will be accumulating throughout your missions, you will be needing a storage area to put aside those somewhat useful items for future use. Sadly, Wo Long doesn’t have a Chest that you could simply interact with to store your items.

Instead, you will have to use the aforementioned Blacksmith Zhu Xia as your storehouse. Go to her in the Hidden Village and interact with her. She will then present a bunch of options/services. You can select any option here to go to the inventory but as an example, we will take the Upgrade option.

Storage Glitch

For the sake of knowledge and potential rage, we have to make you aware of a glitch that is currently present in the game with the storage.

Any weapons, armor, and accessories put in storage will have all their special effects wiped after they are stored for a certain amount of time. We still don’t know how long the item needs to be stored for this bug to take effect.

Some players are reporting that keeping items for an extended period in storage will clear any special effects/stats. this is especially infuriating if you have kept a bunch of high-tier items in the storage only to find out that what made them special has been wiped.

Try to keep your most important loot in your inventory and wait for the developers to fix the storage.

It is very simple to access storage in Wo Long but the game doesn’t tell you about it which is rather odd. Now that you know how to do it, you can just throw all that weird crap in the storage and forget about it. Just be careful with noteworthy items as the glitch might screw you over.
