Star Wars Jedi: Survivor All Bosses Ranked by Difficulty

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has introduced some of the most intense boss fights to the franchise. These battles have established their legacy in the gaming industry by charting the journey of Cal Kestis. In this article, we have ranked all of the main bosses you’ll fight in Star Wars Jedi Survivor from easiest to hardest.

There are 13 main bosses you’ll be fighting in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor and some of these encounters will be quite difficult, based on the enemy’s moveset and health. Some might look intimidating but end up going down pretty easily.

Note: There will be spoilers in certain sections of this list of boss fights. Additionally, some of these fights will be optional, whereas others will be needed for crucial story progression. Here are all the bosses in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

13. Rick the Door Technician

Rick the Door Technician - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Difficulty Rating: 3/10

Rick might be an exceptional door technician, but when it comes to fighting he’s possibly the easiest boss in Jedi: Survivor. This is due to his one-hit instant-kill potential. So expect that you will be quickly dispatching poor Rick and moving on with your quest.

Rick’s courageous spirit will be endearing to many of you Star Wars fans. And he will plunge into fearless battle at the drop of a poncho.

Tactical Guide: Despite Rick’s lack of strength, he definitely should not be overlooked. If you just stand around then there is the chance that Rick might get the better of you. We advise giving Rick an honorable duel and a quick dispatch.

12. K- 405

K-405 - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Difficulty Rating: 4/10

Our 2nd easiest boss battle is against the K-405 droid. He acts, in a way, as the game’s first proper boss battle. But when it comes to his difficulty, he leaves a lot to be desired.

Right off the bat, you will notice K- 405’s slow, sluggish movement speed and predictable attack patterns. In comparison to Cal, he feels like he’s moving in slow motion, and you will easily be able to maneuver around him. Additionally, you’ll also have Bode Akuna to help you with this showdown.

All of this means that you’ll easily be able to handle K-405 without the need for much assistance.

Related:

Tactical Guide: One important facet to remember, however, is that K-405 can still prove to be dangerous if you’re too nonchalant about the fight. He has some incredibly heavy-hitting strikes, and it’s important to avoid damage as much as possible in the initial stages of the fight.

11. AT-ST

AT-ST - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Bosses Ranked
Difficulty Rating: 5/10

The next boss on our list is the All Terrain Scout Transport, or the AT-ST for short. This is where the difficulty of the bosses begins to ramp up in Jedi: Survivor.

Long-time fans of the series will remember the destructive capabilities of the AT-ST. Which largely provided a more versatile and lightweight approach to the heavyset AT-AT.

Initially, the fight against this enemy can seem daunting, as it launches an endless barrage of grenades at you, and attempts to smash you into pancake at every opportunity it gets. However, much like the AT-AT the AT-ST has a critical weakness, its vulnerable legs.

Tactical Guide: If you’re looking to beat the AT-ST then here is what you have to do. Get under the AT-ST and slash at its legs, and dodge whenever it attempts to attack you. There is a chance that damage causes it to crash, so make sure you get out of the way in time.

Once the machine is on the ground, it is far more susceptible to getting hit by its grenades and missiles. So if you’re a smart player, and we know that you are, then you can use Force Pull and Push to hurl the projectiles back at it. Doing this a few times should nab you the victory.

10. Zeik

Zeik - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Difficulty Rating: 6/10

Zeik is a boss that you will encounter in the early stage of the game. Although he can be challenging for those that are new, for veteran players, he will be relatively easy to take down. This enemy packs a very powerful punch, and you might feel overwhelmed due to their unblockable attacks.

Zeik also has a deadly strike that causes an immobilizing effect. If you’re unprepared for this fight, you can find yourself in a situation where you’re immobilized due to their strike and follow up with a powerful attack to knock you out. This is what makes Zeik a decent challenge in the game.

Related:

Tactical Guide: It’s a good thing that the game highlights high-damage, unblockable attacks, through the red aura surrounding Zeik’s body. This will be your warning for such attacks, and you should dodge or attack accordingly to not get hit and defeated. Repeat the process of accurate dodges and attacking when vulnerable to easily win this battle as well.

9. The Ninth Sister

The Ninth Sister - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Difficulty Rating: 6.5/10

If you’ve played Jedi: Fallen Order then you will instantly recognize the Ninth Sister. Why we’re fighting them is a major spoiler, so read the next section with caution. The Ninth Sister are a Jedi Knight that has been manipulated onto the Dark Side. This makes them exceptionally fierce and difficult.

You will once again fight against the Ninth Sister in Jedi: Survivor’s main storyline and will have to deal with their updated battle tactics. One of her creepiest abilities is the mind-reading capabilities that make her nearly untouchable. This will force you to wait out her effects and decide on the right time to strike.

Tactical Guide: You can quickly learn the Ninth Sister’s moveset by observing their slow attacks. It is also particularly helpful to bring a ranged weapon to its fight, perhaps the blaster style, that allows for ranged attacks and the ability to avoid taking too much damage.

8. Tague Louesh

Tague Louesh
Difficulty Rating: 7/10

The Lieutenant of the Bedlam Raiders, Tague Louesh, is a fierce opponent, and one of the first truly difficult boss fights. He wields a Double-Bladed Lightsaber and has a grappling hook that can draw you in and deplete your health bar faster than you can say “It’s a trap.”

He is immensely versatile and can properly defend himself with parries and counter-attacks when he needs them. This makes the strategy of wildly plunging into combat, or trying to bull-rush him not incredibly popular, and you will often find yourself reloading if you attempt this too many times.

Related:

Tactical Guide: Although Tangue’s strength is formidable, he has several weaknesses that can be exploited. The most important of these weaknesses is that he does not perform very well in close-quarters combat.

So long as you’re unleashing a constant wave of attacks toward him, he will not be able to manage them all, and you will win.

7. Reprogrammed Magnaguard

Reprogrammed Magnaguard
Difficulty Rating: 7.2/10

One of the toughest enemies in Jedi: Survivor is the Reprogrammed Magnaguard. This droid is a master of counter-attacks, which means it can strike you even after you’ve parried its attack.

Its lightning-fast movement speed makes it even more difficult to dodge or deflect its Electrostaff. So, you need to time their actions very carefully when fighting this formidable foe.

What’s more, even if you manage to behead this droid, it will become aggressive and unleash a fury of attacks that can quickly lead to your defeat.

But there’s a silver lining to this behavior: you can use it to your advantage by using the droid’s predictability against it.

Tactical Guide: To beat the Reprogrammed Magnaguard, you need to have quick reflexes and good timing. When it begins its attack, use your parry ability to deflect its blows. Then, strike it with your lightsaber. Repeat this pattern until you have dealt enough damage to defeat it.

It’s also helpful to keep moving and dodging to avoid its attacks and maintain a safe distance. With a bit of patience and skill, you can overcome this challenging enemy and emerge victorious.

6. Skriton

Skriton
Difficulty Rating: 7.5/10

The Jedha Skriton poses a significant challenge to players during its boss battle. Its range of deadly attacks, including tail strikes and short-range abilities with its left claw, can quickly immobilize you and leave you vulnerable to further attacks.

The Skriton’s ground slam can also cause significant damage and leave players reaching for Stims from their trusty BD-1.

Related:

Tactical Guide: There are ways to counter Skriton’s attacks and emerge victorious from the battle. You can take advantage of the creature’s vulnerable right side and blind spots to deal damage and avoid its strikes.

Additionally, Merrin can assist you by holding down the Skriton and dealing damage to it when it is out of range. By carefully timing attacks, dodges, and deflections, you can overcome the challenge of the Jedha Skriton and emerge victorious from the battle.

5. Drya Thornne

Drya Thornne
Difficulty Rating: 8/10

The next boss on our list is the insanely challenging Drya Thornne. He presents a tough challenge for even the most skilled among you.

One of the main reasons for this is his similarity to the game’s final boss, with his use of a jetpack and gun and rapid-fire attacks that keep you on your toes.

What makes him even tougher is his ability to disappear briefly thanks to a cloaking device, making it harder to anticipate his movements. However, this can be countered with a well-timed Force Push.

Thornne’s Crossguard stance allows him to parry and guard with great proficiency, making it difficult to break through his defenses.

Tactical Guide: Equip the same Crossguard stance, allowing you to better defend against his attacks. Alternatively, you can choose to engage him from a distance with the Blaster stance, making it easier to avoid his rapid-fire strikes.

4. Rayvis

Rayvis - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Difficulty Rating: 8.5/10

Rayvis has a lot in common with many of the other tougher bosses fights in Jedi: Survivor. However, what instantly sets him apart is that he has more than one stage, and has an ending segment that is very demanding.

In his first phase, he will largely rely on physical attacks. These will include a series of punches and two unblockable hits. It’s important to begin to recognize the animation for these attacks and dodge and parry accordingly. His body slam will also be quite damaging, so make sure to stay out of range.

Related:

Rayvis’ second phase begins after you break his armor. In this phase, he will launch numerous missiles and gunfire onto the battlefield. His attack damage will also significantly increase during this stage, and you may not get a chance to catch your breath during the constant barrage.

Tactical Guide: Keeping a level head in this section will be vital for victory. Keep calm as you dodge his attacks in the first section of the fight, and try to maintain a health lead at all times. In the second phase, managing your health becomes even more vital because of how infrequently you will get to heal.

3. Dagan Gera

Dagan Gera - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Difficulty Rating: 9/10

Although you fight Dagan Gera three times in Jedi: Survivor, we thought it would be best to slot him in this list only once. This is largely because he is incredibly easy to handle the first time you fight him. Although based on the main plot, it would make sense why that’s the case.

Things are far different the second time you face off against Dagan. He will continuously change his stances and switch between Dual Wield to Double-Bladed to keep you on your toes. He has a devastating Orbiting Lightsaber ability, and you will have to dodge two consecutive attacks.

The showdown with Dagan is a grueling three-stage fight, where he showcases his ultimate form. The fight can be a battle of attrition, with the added challenge of clones attacking you and particle attacks from a distance. To make matters worse, Dagan temporarily regains his arm, making him an even more formidable opponent.

Tactical Guide: To beat Daga Gera, you’ll need to stay alert and adjust your tactics as he switches his stances. Use your Jedi powers wisely and don’t hesitate to dodge attacks.

During the final battle, make sure you save some resources for the last stage, where the clones will come at you relentlessly.

2. Darth Vader

Darth Vader - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Difficulty Rating: 9.5/10

Darth Vader, one of the most iconic and feared villains in the Star Wars universe, is undoubtedly one of the most challenging enemies in Jedi: Survivor. The game’s adaptation of Vader is nothing short of impressive, with his swift movements and deadly Force abilities.

Every hit from his lightsaber can deal significant damage, making surviving a one-on-one encounter with him challenging. The fight is even more difficult because Vader’s aggression only intensifies as the battle goes on.

Related:

In his final phase, he becomes even more dangerous, throwing objects at you and unleashing more powerful attacks that can only be dodged, not blocked. It is a true test of skill and endurance to survive this grueling battle.

Tactical Guide: Dodging his attacks and looking for openings is crucial to surviving this encounter. Additionally, using the Force to slow him down or stun him can be a useful tactic. Above all, you should stay focused and not get overwhelmed by his relentless attacks.

1. Bode Akuna

Bode Akuna
Difficulty Rating: 10/10

Our toughest fights are never against our enemies but against our friends. The hardest boss to fight in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is our friend Bode Akuna. His physical strength and his betrayal of Cal’s team both play into the difficulty and emotion of this fight.

The first battle between Bode and Cal is just a taste of what’s to come. The real challenge is the final battle where Akuna combines all the enemy styles from previous fights into one character. He swings his lightsaber like Dagan Gera, charges like Rayvis, and matches Cal’s speed with his jetpack.

But that’s not all – Akuna also has a deadly blaster shot that rarely misses its target and can attach grenades to you when he bear-hugs you, causing a devastating explosion. It’s a tough fight, and players may need to respawn a few times to bring this traitor down, regardless of their difficulty setting.

Tactical Guide: The key is to stay on the move, dodge his attacks, and wait for the right opportunity to strike. Use the Force to slow him down or push him away and keep a safe distance if needed.

Try to attack from behind or the side, where he’s vulnerable, and use your most potent abilities to deal as much damage as possible.

With a bit of patience and perseverance, you can defeat all these formidable foes and bring peace to the galaxy once again.
