V Rising is riddled with bosses and the only way you can earn new powers and truly progress in the game is by defeating these monstrosities. After reaching the end game you will be tasked with defeating a few of the most difficult bosses the game has to offer. These are your raid bosses and they require a bit of effort to put it lightly.
The last and the toughest of these bosses is Solarus The Immaculate and in this article, we will guide you on how you can take on this boss alone.

Preparations – Equipment
You need to come to this fight fully prepared as it’s far from a walk in the park. Before heading to the boss arena you are recommended to bring these:
Potions
Brew of Ferocity or Potion of Rage to increase physical power by 4 or 8 respectively.
An Enchanted Brew or Witch Potion to increase spell power by 4 or 8 respectively.
Holy Resistance Flask which will increase your holy resistance by 75.
These potions do stack and you can have all 5 active at once if you want. The reason we recommended both physical and spell potions is because in this guide we will be using both to defeat the boss.
Accessory
For the accessory slot we will be using Shard of the Frozen Crypt which boosts both physical and magical abilities.
Weapon
For the weapon we are using the Sanguine Reaper for the scythe’s E ability, Howling Reaper, which can be considered as another ranged attack and perfect for fighting from a distance which is exactly what we will be doing most of the fight.

Abilities
Veil of Bones for the 25% damage amplification status effect it inflicts.
Chaos Volley is one of the best sources of damage in the game and also inflicts overtime damage too.
Sanguine Coil, a great option for some chip damage and HP recovery.
Arctic Leap for the ultimate for its massive damage and freezing potential.

Blood Type
For blood type, your goal is to have 100% Scholar and if you can’t then go for the highest % that you can get your hands on. This blood type will buff your ranged spells and their cooldown times.
Solarus The Immaculate Guide
Solarus is a 3 phase boss fight that gets relatively easier down the line. Phase one you’ll be fighting him alone. He will use different attacks like a standard melee slash and a spinning blade attack where he will shoot out a blade in a straight line that will split into two blades to the sides and return to the boss at a 15% angle. Move out of the way of the single blade, then step right back in front of the boss to avoid this attack.
Solarus will also fire a bunch of small pillars of light that he’ll shoot at you in a very specific pattern. You will have to learn the patterns but the further you are away from the boss the easier it is to dodge this attack as the spacing between the pillars gets bigger the further they travel. You can step through the gap or use your travel skill to avoid taking damage.
The boss will also dash towards you summoning a wake of those light pillars to the side. These hurt a lot and will stun you so make sure to stay in front of the boss’s path off to the side to avoid taking damage.

Lastly, the boss will move to the center of the room and spawn 2 holy wells that will shoot more of the light pillars of holy energy. These don’t harm that much so if you get hit by one or two it’s not the end of the world.
The goal here is to constantly chip away at the boss’s health as much as possible. Lead the fight with the ultimate so that you will have it back up before the end of the fight. This phase is all about getting accustomed to the boss’s moveset because as we move into the second half of phase one, things get a bit more interesting. Make sure to keep restoring your health using Sanguine Coil and you can keep your HP up as long as you don’t make any crucial mistakes.
Once the boss reaches 50% health he’ll summon a Divine Angel to aid him in the battle. Solarus will continue to use his core moveset and the angel will also move around the arena trying to attack you. It has some melee attacks, a charge attack that’s difficult to avoid, and will fly outside the arena to shoot holy projectiles at you. Focus on Solarus and ignore the angel for now and occasionally attack it here and there. You will have to kill the angel but it’s not necessary yet.
Keep the pressure on the boss and once his health is low enough he will run to the center of the room becoming invulnerable with a shield, this is when you start attacking the angel. Focus all your efforts on it to take it out quickly. The more damage the angel receives the more deadly it becomes and will start using some of Solarus’s abilities so be on the lookout. While the boss is shielded he will summon huge pillars of light around the arena, do not get hit as they deal high damage and inflict damage over time too.

Once the angel reaches 0 HP it will transform into a Fallen Angel, becoming your ally, and signaling the start of phase 2.
In this phase, Solarus has pretty much the same moveset though he is more aggressive. The only real change here is the boss now has a devastating leap attack where he will jump to your location after a golden reticle appears directly around your character. You should be saving your travel skill for this ability specifically as it has the potential to wipe you out if you’re not careful.
Keep focusing on the boss and with this moveset you will also be dealing damage to the Fallen Angel. As soon as the boss dies you will need to shift your attention to the angel and finish it as well. And there you go the hardest boss in the game is down for the count.
Phase 2 of Solarus is relatively easier than phase 1 so try to keep calm in the chaos and make sure you’re focused on the right target at all times. Don’t forget to use your entire toolkit that we have suggested which includes 3 strong ranged attacks and an ultimate all the while you are powered up by the potions. Using these and carefully maneuvering the attacks will bag you the win in no time.
