Elden Ring has a ton of replayability, especially if you enjoy trying out new builds and classes. Every time you play through the game, you can make it as similar or as different as you want, giving these games their charm. One really good build you can create in Elden Ring are Faith Builds. These have the most potential to be diverse and make for some of the best builds in the game.
There are 15 great weapons that you can get for Faith Builds, and each one is pretty unique. Most of them are Special Weapons, so you can’t change the skills on each weapon.
There is a lot of potential with these weapons, and they all scale with Faith. What is good about having your weapon scale with Faith is that it also makes your Incantation better. Once you start getting into magic stuff, the game is much different than a regular melee build, but it improves your experience.
10. Coded Sword
Location: Found in Leyndell, Royal Capital. If you found the alternate Round Table building, make your way to the west side of the building. You will find some horse stables and want to jump onto them. Follow the roof until you reach a door that leads to the side of the building. Make your way to the circle table, and the Sword will be on top.
This weapon is very odd, but it is one of the coolest Faith weapons in the game. What makes this weapon unique is its ability to cut through anything. Its skill allows you to deal damage whether the enemy is blocking. The scaling on this weapon isn’t crazy, but it is extremely useful if you need to cut through many enemy shields.
If you are running around places with many knights, this is a great weapon to use since you don’t have to wait for them to attack for them to be vulnerable. The downside to this weapon is that it only deals Faith damage, so it’s not the best weapon to use against anything.
9. Black Knife
Location: This is a drop from defeating the Black Knife Assassin at the entrance of Sainted Hero’s Grave in Altus Plateau. This boss is directly west of the Rampartside Path site.
This Dagger is one of the best in the game because of its skill. The weapon scales with Dexterity and Faith, which is extremely fast. If you use this and a Sacred Seal, you will be unstoppable if you know how to use it. Its skill allows you to jump in the air and shoot a projectile that deals blood damage.
If you hit the enemy enough, their health will slowly drain, and you don’t have to do anything except let the skill work. Make sure you have enough FP because if you also have Incantations, you will quickly run out.
8. Golden Halberd
Location: It drops from the Tree Sentinel after you defeat him after the First Step Site of Grace.
This is the earliest Faith weapon you can get in the game because you can get it right after you walk out into the open world. It is not easy to get, but if you can defeat the Tree Sentinel, it is a weapon you should get early on. You don’t have to use it your entire playthrough, although you can. It is a weapon you should use until you can get something lower on this list later.
7. Envoy’s Horn
Location: Chance to drop from the Oracle Envoys in Leyndell, Royal Capital. Upon first entering the city, they are easily found in the East Capital Rampart area.
You have probably seen the little snowmen people use this weapon in the city area, but you most likely didn’t know you could get this weapon and use it. There is a lower percentage chance that this will drop, but there are many of these enemies near the entrance to the city. Keep defeating them until you get it because it will be worth the grind.
Its skill allows you to doot your horn and shoot out bubbles of death. Why wouldn’t you want to do that in this game? It also has some great Faith Scaling, so you shouldn’t sleep on this weapon.
6. Gargoyle’s Black Halberd
Location: It is a drop after defeating Black Blade Kindred in North Caelid. It is an optional boss in front of the Beast Sanctum building.
This weapon is one of the hardest to get on this list because of how annoying the fight is to get it. You can cheese the fight by running in and out of the building where he is, but you will have some trouble if you fight him legitimately. You also won’t be able to defeat him early on, so you will have to wait until much later in the game.
If you can beat him a little after you start a new game, then props to you. He hits extremely hard, and it is not easy to get your attacks in. He moves quickly, so you must memorize many moves and get good at rolling to defeat him. It is a great Faith weapon to use if you can get it.
5. Golden Order Greatsword
Location: Dropped by Misbegotten Crusader in the Cave of the Forlorn.
If you enjoy Greatswords, this is one of the best Faith Greatswords in the game. It is not that hard to get, and it is one of the weapons you need for Armament achievement. The skill isn’t the greatest thing in the world, but it does help get that extra damage in. The Skill blesses your sword with extra Faith damage, but it doesn’t last very long.
4. Maliketh’s Black Blade
Location: You must defeat Maliketh, the Black Blade, and get his Remembrance. Once you do, go to the lady in the Round Table and trade it for this weapon.
If you like a mix of bleed and Faith weapons, this is one of the best. Its skill is a massive bleed AoE, a direct move from the Maliketh boss fight. As we said before, the only way to get this is to trade Maliketh’s Remembrance to the lady for it, which is worth the trade. The developers made Remembrances cost much less, so you are more inclined not to use it for Runes.
It is an insane sword, and it is perfect if you want a build that does a ton of Faith damage. It also scales well with Faith, so keep that in mind when choosing a weapon.
3. Golden Epitaph
Location: Looted off a corpse located in Auriza Hero’s Grave. You’ll need to use the Stonesword Key on the Imp Statue to dispel the barrier blocking the room’s entrance where the body can be found.
This is one of our favorite swords in the game. The scaling on it is crazy, and its design is one of the best in any FromSoft game. It has the same skill as the Golden Order Greatsword but is a regular sword. It is a very good weapon for dual-wielding, and we guarantee you won’t regret its upgrades. It goes well with Crystal Swords if you like those as well.
2. Sacred Relic Sword
Location: You will have to defeat the game’s final boss to get this weapon. Once you get the Elden Remembrance, you can trade it for this weapon with the lady at the Round Table.
This is the hardest sword to get on this list because you need to defeat the final boss of Eldin Ring for it. When you finally beat the game, this is a great sword after the final boss or even through NG+. Its skill is where it shines. It throws a giant shockwave of Faith that reaches an insane distance. It is by far the best weapon for farming Runes in the game.
1. Sword of Night and Flame
Location: It is found in Caria Manor. You need to start at the Manor Lower Level Site of Grace and go to the left on the walkways. You will eventually see a rooftop where you can jump down. Once you jump down, keep dropping till you find a ladder. Climb the ladder, and the sword will be in a chest in the room below.
This is by far the most overpowered weapon besides the Icerind Hatchet, and it makes the game extremely easy. If you use this sword, you will use its two abilities more often than your Incantations. Try to use the abilities less unless you want to cheese almost any boss or enemy in the game.
