Some of the unique weapons and spells you can use in Elden Ring can only be obtained by defeating specific bosses, which reward you with their Remembrance, which you then exchange for the top-of-the-line loot. There are ways with which you can duplicate these Remembrances so that you may get your hands on both the items tied to the Remembrance.
The reason why you can’t duplicate remembrances is that you’re using the wrong mausoleum. These mausoleums come in two varieties; with a bell and without a bell. The ones with the bell will duplicate any Remembrance once, while the ones without the bell will only duplicate the Remembrance of every boss that is not a shardbearer demigod.
These mausoleums will only duplicate a Remembrance once and become inactive after use, so choose wisely!

Remembrances In Elden Ring
Remembrances, or “Boss Souls,” in Elden Ring are Consumable Items that grant the Power of their namesake Bosses. Players can either sell or use them for a bounty of Runes or exchange them for powerful weapons and spells by giving them to Enia at the Roundtable Hold. They can be duplicated at Walking Mausoleums, but only once per mausoleum and remembrance. Remembrances are kept in New Game+.
All the Remembrances that are available in Elden Ring with their respective rewards are listed below:

Duplicating Remembrance & Walking Mausoleums
As you can see above, all of the Remembrances have the choice of two items they can be exchanged for. Considering that you can only trade it in once, and then it’s gone from your inventory, half of the items listed above will never be yours in one game playthrough. Luckily, you can duplicate at least some of these Remembrances by using the Walking Mausoleums.
Walking Mausoleums are special locations in Elden Ring. Mausoleums look like giant walking stone “turtles” and are found throughout the Lands Between, often with bells attached. Players have to attack the skull-like inflictions on the structure while avoiding damage to get the mausoleum to become accessible.

Once accessible, place your boss’s Remembrance at the altar to Duplicate it. You do not have to have the Remembrance in your inventory when you do this. If you previously acquired and used it, you can still receive a duplicate later in your playthrough. The duplications are only one use per mausoleum so you have to choose wisely as there are a total of 7 Walking Mausoleums in the game only hence only 7 duplications are allowed in a particular playthrough.
Some things to consider when dealing with duplications at a Walking Mausoleum:
- You cannot regain a Remembrance Weapon you have already obtained in the same playthrough.
- Mausoleums without a bell will not duplicate Remembrances of Shardbearer Demigods.
All the Remembrances and the respective Walking Mausoleums type where they can be duplicated are listed below:
- With bell Walking Mausoleums will duplicate any Remembrance, including:
- Remembrance of the Grafted
- Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen
- Remembrance of the Starscourge
- Remembrance of the Omen King
- Remembrance of the Blasphemous
- Remembrance of the Rot Goddess
- Remembrance of the Blood Lord

- Remembrance of the Black Blade
- Remembrance of the Naturalborn

- Remembrance of the Lichdragon

Remembrance duplication and Walking Mausoleums have some nuances attached to them if you have properly learned about using this article and are using the limited quantity of them correctly, then you won’t have much trouble getting the most items out of them.
There is no way you can get all the Remembrance items in a single playthrough, so you should use the first playthrough for the items of your choice while keeping the rest for the new game+.
