Elden Ring very cleverly removes the typical RPG grind of collecting materials and items used for crafting, upgrading, etc., with the addition of Bell Bearings. As you collect these Bell Bearings, you gradually eliminate the need to whizz around the Lands Between to collect specific materials with spending Runes to buy them in the Roundtable Hold without any hassle.
Since there are so many things to gather in Elden Ring, there are just as proportionate Bell Bearings to accumulate. In this guide, we will go over all the Bell Bearings located in the base Elden Ring, i.e., Lands Between only.

Where to Find Twin Maiden Husks
Before we start accumulating the Bell Bearings in Elden Ring, you need to know who you need to give these to to unlock the items you can buy. To do so, you must unlock the Twin Maiden Husks first.
They are found in the Roundtable Hold, which you naturally gain access to as you progress in Elden Ring. Once you port to the Table of Lost Grace, turn left and move towards the section where you can find the Sir Gideon Ofnir. Turn right from Gideon’s room entrance and across the open double door. Here, you’ll meet the Twin Maiden Husks.
You can interact with them by pressing the Talk prompt, and although they won’t speak a word, they will reveal a menu. You can Purchase items from them, but more importantly, you can select the Offer a bell bearing option. This will open up the list of all the Bell Bearings you have on you.
Give them the Bell Bearing, which will unlock new Bell Bearing Shop options within their menus. From here, you can buy the items specific to the bell bearing you presented to them. Every Bell Bearing unlocks a particular set of items at this shop. We will mention what items each bell bearing unlocks in the sections below.
Elden Ring Limgrave and Weeping Peninsula Bell Bearing Locations
Here are all the locations of the Bell Bearings marked number-wise on the map of Limgrave above:
- Kalé’s Bell Bearing: Right as you exit the starting section and unlock the First Step Site of Grace, you’ll see a dilapidated church, Church of Elleh, in front next to the patroling Tree Sentinel. Proceed to the church, and you’ll meet Kale, the merchant. Kill him, and he’ll drop the bell bearing.
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [3]: There is a Nomadic Merchant sitting by a fire under a collapsed stone structure, south of Coastal Cave in West Limgrave.
- Patches’ Bell Bearings: Keep moving north through the shallow waterway from the lake where you fought Flying Dragon Agheel. Soon, you’ll witness the mouth of a cave to your left called Murkwater Cave. Enter it, and at the end, you’ll face the pesky Patches. The fight ends with him begging you to stop and him turning into a merchant. Kill him afterward, and he’ll drop the bell bearing.
- Gostoc’s Bell Bearing: You’ll meet Gatekeeper Gostoc initially when infiltrating Stormveil Castle. Leave him for now and continue to explore the legacy dungeon. Once you defeat Godrick the Grafted, reload the area, and Gostoc will be seen kicking Godrick’s remains. Talk to him, and eventually, he’ll become a merchant. Kill him to get the bell bearing.
- Bernahl’s Bell Bearing: When traveling to Stormveil Castle, you’ll encounter a broken hut, Stormhill Shack, where you meet Roderika. From here, take the eastern route toward the dense forest with enemy soldiers patrolling. In the middle of the woods, to your right, you’ll see the Warmaster’s Shack. Inside Knight Bernahl (daytime only) will sell you Ashes of War. Take him out to acquire the bell bearing.
- Bone Peddler’s Bell Bearings: Return to the Warmaster’s Shack at night, and instead of Knight Bernahl, a boss called Bell Bearing Hunter will spawn. Defeat him, and he’ll drop the bell bearing.
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [1]: Dropped by killing the Nomadic Merchant in North Limgrave, sitting by a campfire east of the Saintsbridge Site of Grace.
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [2]: Dropped by slaying the Nomadic Merchant in East Limgrave, next to the roadside camp between the Mistwood Ruins and Fort Haight.
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [4]: Kill the Nomadic Merchant, situated next to the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace in Weeping Peninsula. It’s on the straight road to Castle Morne (legacy Dungeon).
- Isolated Merchant’s Bell Bearing [1]: There is a Merchant west of Weeping Peninsula, south of the Tombsward Site of Grace, at the ocean-facing end of the field with the Wandering Mausoleum.

Elden Ring Liurnia of the Lakes Bell Bearing locations
Here are all the locations of the Bell Bearings marked number-wise on the map of Liurnia of the Lakes above:
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearing [5]: As you descend towards the middle water section of West Liurnia, coming from the Stormveil Castle, the Nomadic Merchant is sitting close to the Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace. Take out the merchant to claim the bell bearing.
- Thops’s Bell Bearing: You will meet Thops in the Church of Irith when you arrive in Liurnia. It is very close to Stormveil Castle. You can kill him there only to get the bell bearing. However, we recommend sparing him for now and giving him the Academy Glintstone Key. After you give him the key, fast travel to the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace in Raya Lucaria Academy. Proceed outside the room and turn right to find him dead, seated in a chair. Loot him to get the bell bearing and a unique spell.
- Isolated Merchant’s Bell Bearings [2]: After taking the portal to the Main Academy Gate Site of Grace of Raya Lucaria Academy, turn to the left and follow the green path. Between the shrubbery, you’ll meet up with this merchant. Kill him to get the bell bearing.
- Sellen’s Bell Bearing: Follow the steps of Sellen’s quest, defeat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, and then fast-travel to Raya Lucaria Grand Library Site of Grace. Outside, there will be two summon signs; use the red summon sign to help Witch-Hunter Jerren defeat Sellen. This earns you the Witch’s Glintstone Crown and Sellen’s Bell Bearing.
- Miriel’s Bell Bearing: Locate the Church of Vows in the eastern highland section of Liurnia, northwest of the Artist’s Shack. Here, you’ll meet the giant turtle pope Miriel, Pastor of Vows. You have to kill this holy creature to get the bell bearing. Although he doesn’t fight back, he has a ton of health, so putting him down will take some time.
- Meat Peddler’s Bell Bearing: Visit the Church of Vows at night, and the Bell Bearing Hunter will spawn at this location. Defeat him to acquire the bell bearing.
- Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing [1]: Travel northwest of the Raya Lucaria Academy, where a Wandering Mausoleum roams. Next to it is a dungeon, Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel. Enter it and defeat the Crystalian boss at the end to receive the bell bearing.
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [6]: There is a Nomad Merchant under a stone arch just north of Bellum Church in Northern Liurnia. Kill the trader to get the bearing.
- Iji’s Bell Bearing: Meet with War Counselor Iji on the way to Caria Manor. DO NOT HIT HIM. You must follow and complete Blaidd’s quest line to acquire his bell bearing. Once you have beaten Blaidd, return to Iji and talk to him. Select the “Blaidd’s Death” option and let him finish his dialogue. Return to the spot, and you’ll find Iji dead. You can then loot his anvil for Iji’s Bell Bearing and Iji’s Mirrorhelm.
- Seluvis’s Bell Bearing: First, you must complete Ranni the Witch’s quest. Once it’s done, visit Seluvis’s Rise, near Ranni’s Rise, and you’ll find Preceptor Seluvis’s lifeless body where he once stood. Loot it for the bell bearing.
- Pidia’s Bell Bearing: Locate Pidia, Carian Servant, in the room above Manor Lower Level Site of Grace (Caria Manor) after beating Royal Knight Loretta. Access the church’s top level by dropping down from the Three Sisters’ outer area, using the manor’s church tower as a guide. Next, complete Ranni the Witch’s quest and return to Pidia to find him dead with the bell bearing open for looting.

- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [8]: The merchant is located halfway up the northern Mt. Gelmir, east of the bridge by Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Grace. Kill the merchant to get the bell bearing.
- Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [1]: Go to the Wyndham Ruins, found at the base of the southern face of the jagged rocky mountains leading up to Mt. Gelmir. Here, you’ll find the entrance to the Wyndham Catacombs dungeon. Go through the dungeon and defeat the Erdtree Burial Watchdog at the end to get the bell bearing.
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [7]: The merchant sits on the left side of the broken Forest-Spanning Greatbridge Site of Grace, west Altus Plateau. Kill the merchant to get the bell bearing.
- Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [2]: You have to gain access to the Altus Tunnel dungeon in the Altus Plateau. It is directly south of the Minor Erdtree in the Altus Plateau. Explore the dungeon and defeat the Crystalian (Spear) & Crystalian (Ringblade) boss duo for the bell bearing to drop.
- Hermit Merchant’s Bell Bearings [1]: Enter Leyndell, Royal Capital, using the northern entrance near the Outer Wall Battleground Site of Grace. North from the site of grace, there is a Hermit Merchant’s Shack with a merchant inside. Assassinate the merchant to obtain the bell bearing.
- Medicine Peddler’s Bell Bearing: Return to the Hermit Merchant’s Shack at night, and the Bell Bearing Hunter invasion will occur. Beat the boss to be rewarded with the bell bearing.
- Blackguard’s Bell Bearing: You can meet Blackguard Big Boggart initially in Liurnia in Boilprawn Shack, just north of the Scenic Isle Site of Grace. You can kill him there to get the bell bearing, but we recommend following his quest to unlock more items from acquiring the bell bearing. When you complete the starting steps of his quest, he will move to Leyndell in the northern section of the moat near the Capital rampart Site of Grace. Kill him now to get the better version of the bell bearing.
- Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing [2]: You must first access the Sealed Tunnel dungeon. It is in the southern moat around Capital Outskirts. The bell bearing is in a chest in the first hidden chamber of the Sealed Tunnel, accessed by hitting the western wall past the Site of Grace. Drop down into the lower section and look to the west for the chest.
- Corhyn’s Bell Bearing: Once Brother Corhyn leaves Roundtable Hold, you can meet him north of the Altus Highway Junction Sit of Grace. You can kill him here to get the bell bearing. However, if you want to get the best version of the bearing, you must complete the interconnected Corhyn and Goldmask quest. The location of the bell bearing will differ depending on your choices.

- Isolated Merchant’s Bell Bearings [3]: There is an Isolated Merchant’s Shack atop a hill with a bunch of giant dogs in northern Dragonbarrow, near the Divine Tower of Caelid. Take out the merchant (daytime only) to get the bell bearing.
- Gravity Stone Peddler’s Bell Bearing: Visit the aforementioned Isolated Merchant’s Shack in Dragonbarrow to begin the Bell Bearing Hunter invasion. Beat the boss to get the bell bearing.
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [9]: This merchant is in central Caelid between the Astray From Caelid Highway North and Aeonia Swamp Shore Sites of Grace. Kill the merchant to get the bell bearing.
- Nomadic Merchant’s Bell Bearings [10]: The merchant sits by a campfire at a junction in the southern portion of the Caelid Highway near the Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank Site of Grace. Slay the merchant for the bell bearing to drop.
- Gowry’s Bell Bearings: There is a run-down hut, Gowry’s Shack, south of the Sellia, Town of Sorcery in east Caelid. Enter it and kill the inhabitant Gowry to acquire the bell bearing.
- Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [1]: North of the Aeonia Swamp in the middle of Caelid, there is a dungeon called Sellia Crystal Tunnel. Explore the dungeon and defeat the Fallingstar Beast boss at the end to acquire the bell bearing.

- Ghost-Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [1]: You will find this on a body under the gazebo near Nokron, Eternal City Site of Grace.
- Abandoned Merchant’s Bell Bearings: You can hear him playing music near a campfire inside some ruins in Siofra River. He is only accessible by climbing the nearby wooden scaffolding.
- Imprisoned Merchant’s Bell Bearing: The merchant is west of Mohgwyn Palace in the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum. Once inside the mausoleum, navigate the tunnels while keeping to the left. You’ll eventually find the Imprisoned Merchant at the end of a cavern. Take him out for the bell bearing.

- Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing [3]: located inside a chest in Zamor Ruins right after the Zamor Ruins Site of Grace. The chest is in a basement at the southwest tip of the ruins, down one flight of stairs.
- Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [2]: It is situated in the Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs dungeon, north of Zamor Ruins until you reach the bridge with fire monks, then turn southeast and follow the slope down to the door. Go through the dungeon and defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit at the end to obtain the bell bearing.

Elden Ring Roundtable Hold Bell Bearing locations
You can obtain two NPC bell bearings in Roundtable Hold:
- D’s Bell Bearing: You’ll initially meet D, Hunter of the Dead, in Limgrave, near Summonwater Village Outskirts Site of Grace. Talk to him, and soon, he will move into Roundtable Hold and begin his side quest. You have two ways of getting his bell bearing:
- Beat the Fire Giant boss at the end of the Mountaintops of the Giants. Return to Roundtable Hold, and you’ll witness a dead D. Proceed to loot his body for the bell bearing.
- Follow Fia, Deathbed Companion’s quest and bring her the Weathered Dagger. Afterward, reload Roundtable Hold, and you’ll see that D’s been killed, his body ready to be looted.
- Rogier’s Bell Bearing: You’ll meet Sorcerer Rogier inside a church in Stormveil Castle. Talk to him, and then proceed to beat Godrick. Rogier will then shift to the Roundtable Hold. Interact with him, and he’ll initiate his quest. Continue the mission, soon, he’s found dead, and you can loot his corpse for the bell bearing.
